A wall sconce built around a shade carved from natural alabaster in the shape of a rounded flower bud with a softly scalloped rim. Alabaster is a soft, translucent stone, so the shade glows warm and even from within and the light passes gently through its cloudy grain — and because each shade is worked from natural stone, the mottling and translucency on yours are its own. The bud sits on a slim copper arm above a small round wall backplate, so it reads as a quiet sculptural detail rather than a fixture.
