A low, wide drum cut from natural marble, cream-white with charcoal and soft gray-mauve veining that runs in broad diagonal bands around the shade. The drum is left open at the base, where a plain recessed round diffuser sits up inside the body and casts light straight down; the inner marble wall warms from within while the outer face and rim stay quietly unlit. The pattern of every piece is particular to the block it was cut from.
