A small polished dark metal cap is the only hardware, holding the shade from a fine black cord so the marble is the whole of the object.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt 4.7 inches across the shade is deliberately modest, and the rounded form spreads its light evenly in every direction rather than throwing a tight column.
